Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the RentOhome platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RentOhome.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the RentOhome platform ("Platform") available at rentohome.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users (customers), property owners, and any other person who accesses or uses the Platform.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Platform.
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
- You must not be barred from using the Platform under applicable Indian law.
- Corporate entities may register through an authorised representative.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@rentohome.in if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account.
3.3 Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any behaviour that we determine harms other users or the Platform.
4. Platform Use
4.1 Permitted Use
The Platform is provided solely to facilitate connections between property owners and prospective tenants/buyers. You may browse listings, send enquiries, schedule property visits, and make payments through the Platform.
4.2 Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent property listings
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform
- Upload content containing malware, spam, or offensive material
- Circumvent any security or authentication mechanism
- Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Platform
5. Property Listings
5.1 Owner Responsibility
Property owners are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings. Listings must accurately describe the property, its condition, location, and pricing. Misleading listings will result in immediate removal and account suspension.
5.2 Approval Process
All published listings are subject to admin review before becoming visible to the public. RentOhome reserves the right to approve, reject, or remove any listing at our discretion, with or without notice.
5.3 No Guarantee
RentOhome is a marketplace platform. We do not guarantee that any listing will result in a rental or sale transaction. We do not verify the physical condition of properties or the title/ownership claims of listing owners.
6. Payments
6.1 Payment Gateway
All payments are processed through Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. RentOhome does not store your card, UPI, or banking credentials.
6.2 Platform Fees
RentOhome may charge service fees on transactions. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you confirm a payment. Fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in our Refund Policy.
6.3 Failed Transactions
If a payment fails but your bank or wallet is debited, the amount is typically auto-reversed within 5–7 business days. Contact support@rentohome.in with your transaction ID for assistance.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including logos, designs, software, text, and graphics — is the property of RentOhome and protected under applicable Indian copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
By uploading property images or other content to the Platform, you grant RentOhome a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, resize, and use that content in connection with operating the Platform.
8. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
RentOhome is an intermediary platform. We are not a party to any rental or sale agreement between owners and customers. Any dispute arising from a property transaction is strictly between the relevant parties.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RentOhome shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to RentOhome in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Pune, Maharashtra.
Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt resolution through our support team at support@rentohome.in. We will endeavour to respond within 5 business days.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
